Legendary Test Guide

Here it is, a very much needed guide to one of the most rewarding quests in the game. This is one of the few quests that deserves a guide of its own. Not all info is here, as this FAQ only serves as a way to help you get started.

The Quest:

Step 1 - Finish the Maze in sky town to gain access to the book repair shop.

Step 2 - Get 10,000 Crystal Shards then trade them for 2 Crystal Star in the Book Repair

Shop.

Step 3 - Finish the Ruins to get the OoT item which allows you to go into the past.

Step 4 - Trade the 2 Crystal Stars for a Full Star.

Step 5 - Do the Snow Shop Key Quest to get the key to open the room in the Snow Shop.

Step 6 - Trade the Full Star for a Round Star

Step 7 - Finish Wam Bam Cave to get the Key

Step 8 - Trade for the Meteor Crystal

Step 9 - Do steps 2, 4, 6, AND 8 again to get a 2nd Meteor Crystal

Step 10 - Go through the secret back paths of KDW to find your way into Legend's office.

Step 11 - Trade for the Vivi's Gloves item.

Step 12 - Go to Vivi's house and use the gloves to unlock a secret passage, then trade the key for ViVi's Note.

Step 13 - Do the Master Emerald Blade quest and pick up the item next to the Master Blade. *NEWLY ADDED ITEM*

After you have the Master Emerald Key, head to the KDW 2006 areas and open the secret passage. Trade for the "Home Dawg Was X" item.

Step 14 - Head to Yoshi's Island and trade for the Dawg Cash.

Step 15 - Head to Tutle Island, and trade for the Turtle Food.

Step 16 - Head back to Dawg and accept the Last Request item.

Step 17 - Go through the hidden Grave Mini Castle above the Ruins to get the Grave Key.

Step 18 - Use the OoT to travel to the past and make your way to Grave's HQ. Finish this area to get the LT key. (Legendary Test Key)

Step 19 - Use the key in a hidden room in Legendary space then trade it for the L. Test Star.

Step 20 - Use the back paths of KDW to access a secret area as hinted at by the L Test Star.

Step 21 - Make your way through the secret maze.

Step 22 - Use the key and claim your prize.

The Reward:
=========================
The reward of this quest is one of the biggest rewards in the game. Once you finish the quest your level will be reset to level 1, however all your stats will remain intact. What does this mean? Well lets say you reach level 500 and you're stats are as followed.

Atk: 1000
Def: 500
Speed: 30
Magic: 0

If you finish the Legendary Test you will keep these stats and be able to relevel up to 500. To put it simple, this allows you to be able to max all of your stats.

Just keep in mind that the rewards are greater depending on what level you decide to do this at.
