Although KDW will save your progress as you play, there's a way to force a save yourself, and it's something we strongly recommend you do. By typing /save a notification will pop up telling you that your character stats and inventory have been saved. This means if the game were to have any technical issue and go offline, your progress will remain when KDW comes back online. We recommend that you do a manual save after leveling up, or finding a rare item, but it's really up to you to decide when (or if) you want to do it.
It's always better safe than sorry.
Note: KDW will force your character stats to save when you log off as well -- no need to type /save.
