KDW Trivia: Fun Fact #2 - Legend and Legendary Space

Did you know that both the character of "Legend" and the location called "Legendary Space" came from a game Legend and his friends used to play? Back when Kirby Air Ride came out when they were kids, they would role play about different characters, and make up their own stories. Legend was a white Star Warrior who crashed on Pop Star on the Dragoon, and decided to stay there to study it, and characters such as Myth were other "Legendary Star Warriors" whom people didn't believe existed. These characters came from a place called "Legendary Space," and when the stories were being role played, the space stage at the end of Air Ride Mode was used to represent this location.
When KDW was created, Legend used his fan character's name, and used his childhood fanfiction as the basis for the world. The Legend sprite was actually added long before any others, and it wasn't until KDW opened to the public that it began shaping into what it is today. While Legend's story still remained at the core, the world became one fully created by the fans. As for Legendary Space, it wasn't even included until after the community began to shape the world. It started as a single map where you could walk on water (in space!), and it wasn't connected until Dr. Killjoy created Hillside Town. Here, Legendary Space's entrance was hidden by the broken bridge.

Now days, Legendary Space can be accessed many different ways, but just how to get in there, and what can be found is a secret.
